Although not growing up in a Christian household, Kaitlyn gave her life to Jesus the summer before her freshman year at Clemson University due to the Lord very evidently pursuing her while living in the Bible Belt. Kaitlyn got involved with Campus Outreach pretty quickly during her freshman year and met Brittainy Crisp, a woman on staff who was devoted to teaching her everything there was to know when it came to following Jesus daily. While being discipled and falling more in love with Jesus, Kaitlyn began to desire to tell others about this great love she found through knowing Jesus. She started to understand the purpose she was made for as a Christ-follower, to love Christ and make His love known! Kaitlyn is now so eager to see how the Lord will grow her and use her for His glory and the furtherment of His Kingdom through the joy of sharing the gospel with college students at the University of South Carolina!
Campus budgets helps fund:
- Bible study materials and food to start up evangelistic Bible studies on the campus each semester
- Materials and snacks for weekly meetings as well as other events on campus for the year, so that more students might encounter Christ!
- Training and team-building for campus staff team once a year, so that they might be more effective in ministering to students.
