Bio & Testimony

Alex gave his life to Christ his freshman year of college at WCU after his good friend Gus shared the gospel with him one fateful night while taking a drive. Through the ministry and discipleship of Campus Outreach and his church, Webster Baptist, Alex saw men dedicated to seeking Christ daily and humbly dying to themselves daily. Alex now desires to live a life devoted to giving the same gift of the gospel and discipleship that he received in college, to students at Wofford, desperately in need of Jesus. Alex and Sarah were recently married and look forward to showing the love of the gospel through their marriage.

Sarah had the blessing of being raised by a family of believers and surrounded by church community, but only lived a life of cultural Christianity until giving her life to Christ in high school. Her freshman year at Clemson she was connected to women on CO staff through Carrie Meisenheimer, fell in love with real, Jesus-seeking community, and discovered the true purpose of her life as a believer. Over the next four years the Lord steadily grew within her an exciting love of and joy for Christ, discipleship, and living to make the party in heaven to come all the more abundant and full of souls worshiping King Jesus! She now looks forward excitedly to beginning a new ministry and laboring with her husband, Alex, to share the beautiful hope of the gospel with the campus of Wofford.

Bible study materials and food to start up evangelistic Bible studies on the campus each semester
Materials and snacks for weekly meetings as well as other events on campus for the year, so that more students might encounter Christ!
Training and team-building for campus staff team once a year, so that they might be more effective in ministering to students.
